Paris, Parks, Pastries, and Presentations: Our First Week in the City of Light! 🗼

July 4, 2025

Bon matin from Paris!

It’s hard to believe it’s already Friday—and that we set off on our European adventure nearly a week ago! Since arriving, our students have been diving headfirst into all that Paris has to offer, both inside and outside the classroom.

This week has been packed with unforgettable moments. We’ve marveled at iconic Parisian landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the Musée d’Orsay. One especially exciting highlight was a visit from none other than Mr. Sam Blyth, our amazing founder, who stopped by to share in the fun.

In French class, students have been working hard on their Guide touristique projects. Each student chose a landmark to explore and present to their classmates, with visits spanning from the impressive Arc de Triomphe to the enchanting Hotel des invalides. Their curiosity and enthusiasm have been truly inspiring!

We wrapped up the school week with a delicious picnic hosted by Mme White’s class, soaking in the lively energy of the after-work crowd as we built friendships and made lasting memories.

Looking ahead to the weekend, students signed up for the optional excursions will be heading to the historic Vimy Ridge and the magnificent Palace of Versailles on Saturday or Sunday. Meanwhile, others will enjoy some well-deserved free time to explore Paris at their own pace, catch up on rest, and keep up with their schoolwork before another exciting week of classes kicks off Monday.
