Today was nothing short of magical as our entire group set off on an optional excursion that quickly became a highlight of the trip—a full-day sailing adventure aboard a pirate-style ship from the port of Syros!

Sailing into Paradise
With the sails up and the sea breeze in our hair, we cruised around the island, anchoring at remote beaches and hidden swim spots that felt like secret treasures. The water was unbelievably clear—shimmering shades of turquoise and deep blue—and students couldn’t wait to dive in.

Snorkelling & Deck Jumps
Highlights included snorkelling in crystal waters, spotting fish and underwater rock formations, and the ever-popular jumps from the upper deck. Cheers and splashes echoed across the bay as students took the plunge again and again.

Grill Onboard – Greek Feast at Sea
While we swam and explored, our skipper fired up the grill, serving up a delicious feast of grilled souvlaki, fresh-cut French fries, and creamy tzatziki. It was the perfect meal to enjoy on deck, surrounded by sun and sea.

Chill Vibes Between Stops
Between swim spots, the vibe was pure relaxation. Students tanned, napped, DJed their own playlists, and even learned new card games. Laughter, music, and the gentle rocking of the boat made for a dreamy afternoon.

Everyone Had the Best Time
From adventure seekers to sun lovers, everyone found their moment on board. It was a day of connection, exploration, and pure joy—a reminder of how special this journey really is.
