Monaco in a Day: Teens, Supercars & Gelato Dreams

Monaco is the kind of place that feels like it’s straight out of a movie—especially when you’re a teenager obsessed with luxury cars and yachts.

We arrived in Monte Carlo and instantly some students started car-spotting. Within minutes, they’d seen a Lamborghini Aventador, a Ferrari SF90, and a Bugatti Chiron—all parked like they were part of the scenery. Outside the Casino, it was like a real-life video game: revving engines, custom wraps, and tourists (like us) freaking out with cameras.

After that it was all about the yachts. Not boats—yachts. Massive, shiny, and stacked with jet skis, pools, and even one with a helicopter. We walked the docks, the boys pointing at their future boats and joking about which one they’d “buy” first.

We wrapped up the day with the perfect ending: scoops of gelato while we waited to head back to the train station

We may not have pulled away in a Ferrari (yet), but maybe one day!
