Midway Update from our Program Managers

Hola:
We have reached the halfway portion of the July Costa Rica program. The students hiked though the Cloud Forest of Monteverde, experienced first-hand how agrotourism is utilized on a coffee plantation, swam in the Pacific Ocean in Playas Del Coco, and witnessed amazing sunsets. We are together as one big group again and will be heading to Arenal on Wednesday morning for two nights.
We have been spoiled with authentic Costa Rican cuisine prepared by Mariam, Erik and the Rodriguez family (our hosts in Playas del Coco). Many new friendships have been made and the students have come to enjoy our communal breakfasts and dinners.
I hope you have been following the amazing “Blog” and Instagram posts from Sarah and Dave (Activity Coordinators) detailing the daily activities of the students.
The last two weeks will be busy with engaging class activities and optional excursions leading up to the final banquet prior to our return to Toronto.
