Heraklion, Crete

Heraklion is definitely a city we see ourselves enjoying over the next week.  We had a full day of classes, and also had a Greek language lesson before heading on a walking tour of the city. Students didn’t expect Crete to be so cosmopolitan, and they were starting to get very excited about checking out all of the stores and cafes they spotted along the walking tour.  The tour led to a family run Tavern called “The Ouzeri tou Terzaki” where we were well fed and energized, and ready to sign out for the evening for our free time.
