Getting in the groove of Roma
Day by day we are starting to see all our students feel more comfortable within the city. Weather update.. it is still very hot but your children are doing so well with sunscreen and staying hydrated, very much troopers at this point. Yesterday, we went through centuries of incredible art in the Vatican Museum. We then had a pizza dinner at a restaurant near the Vatican. At the end of dinner students had a choice to come back with staff to the hotel or figure out to how to come back on their own in groups of 4. We were in a new part of the city, one they were not familiar with just yet. The independence is growing within the group, these students are truly on their way to being ready for post secondary education.
Another day of learning today in the morning at the hotel followed by classes going out and doing some experiential lessons within the city. Combining curriculum with the countries we are visiting is what makes Global Summers Academy unique, great job teachers. 🙂
