Founder Sam Blyth Visits With the London & the Greek Islands Program

Dear Parents and Friends,

I was delighted to receive the London & the Greek Islands program at my London home last week. The rain stopped for a couple of hours and we enjoyed an outdoor BBQ in my back garden. My home is in Notting Hill, a couple of blocks from the Portobello Road market, which many of them explored explored on their way to my house.

The group was in great spirits and loving London, but also looking forward to their flight to Crete the next afternoon. They were all ready for some sun, warm weather and beaches after a cool and wet summer in London, which has caused havoc amongst other things with scheduling at Wimbledon.

I spoke to the students after dinner in my living room about the historic moments of the week including a new government in the UK and an important election in France. Not to mention the football Euros and the Olympics and Taylor Swift within earshot at Wembley. I also gave some advice on how to get the best of the program.

The program is in the very experienced hands of Jason Smith, Chris Fuller, and a great teaching staff. Together they have run these programs for me for decades and I am grateful for their dedication and care.

Thank you for entrusting your children to us this summer. They are very strong academically and clearly loving their program.

With best wishes,

Sam Blyth
