First Day

Day 1 is in the books!

After meeting up at Pearson International Airport, it didn’t take long for the card games to come out and everyone to start getting to know each other. Once we landed in Costa Rica, we hit the road for the scenic drive to Monteverde, with a lunch stop at Restaurante Mimi (and a few mandatory photo ops along the way).

One of the highlights of the drive? Spotting our very first toucan in the wild!

We arrived at the hotel just in time for our first dinner together, followed by a welcome meeting to kick off the adventure. To end the night, we headed into Monteverde to explore the town and soak in our first evening in Costa Rica.

A long day of travel, lots of laughs, and the perfect way to start what’s sure to be an unforgettable trip.
