Final Blog
It is hard to believe that just a month ago we were just starting our Portugal/Spain 2026 adventure. It’s been just over a week since our program ended. Some of us continued with other adventures and some have gone home to enjoy the rest of the summer. The one thing we all share is the unforgettable experience of traveling through Portugal and Spain together! What started as a group of strangers arriving with excitement, curiosity, and maybe a few nerves has become a community and a collection of memories that will stay with us forever.
Over the past month, we traveled through the beautiful cities of Lisbon, Porto, Bilbao, Madrid, Mallorca, and Barcelona, discovering the history, culture, and spirit of each place we visited. We wandered through charming streets, admired incredible landmarks, experienced traditions different from our own, and embraced every opportunity to learn, explore, and grow, and all the while, keeping up with our studies.
From unforgettable tapas and local specialties to shared dinners filled with laughter and conversation, every meal became part of our experience. Some of the best memories were created around a table, where friendships grew stronger and stories were shared.
But the most special part of this has been the people we met and the friendships that were built. There is something magical about the friendships formed while traveling. The people who share these experiences with us become part of our experience. The inside jokes, the unforgettable moments, the little adventures that only this group will understand. These are the memories that will stay with us.
To the students: thank you for bringing your energy, kindness, humour and willingness to embrace every moment. You truly made this summer extraordinary!
To our parents: thank you for trusting us with your kids and allowing them the opportunity to be part of something truly special. We hope the stories they bring home help you feel a small piece of the magic that happened and feel just how special this experience has been!
This was more than a school program. It was a journey filled with discovery, growth, laughter, friendship, and memories that will last far beyond July.
