Exploring The Beauty Of Syros

The morning began with classes as our Biology and English students met to continue their coursework. With only a few days left in the program, many students were introduced to their final projects and culminating assignments, giving them time to work ahead and stay on track while still enjoying all of the incredible experiences Greece has to offer.

After classes, students took advantage of the beautiful weather. Many headed to the beach to soak up the sun, while others chose to relax by the pool, cool off in the water, and even enjoy the hotel’s waterslide.

Later in the afternoon everyone got ready for our walking tour of Hermoupolis, the beautiful capital of Syros. Students had the opportunity to learn about the island’s rich history while exploring the charming streets, admiring the stunning architecture and taking in breathtaking views overlooking the city and harbour.

Following the tour, we headed to dinner where students enjoyed a traditional Greek meal, another chance to experience the local culture and cuisine.

The evening ended with some free time before everyone returned to the hotel for sign in and a good night’s rest. Excitement is definitely in the air as we prepare for a busy day tomorrow, as everyone will be taking part in our sailing excursion!
