Day In Centro

We have safely arrived in Siena!

Upon arrival to the hotel, the group had about an hour to settle in to their rooms before having an absolutely delicious dinner – pasta with fresh 3-tomato sauce,  roast beef and spinach, and Nonna’s cake for dessert.  Exactly what we needed after our travels!

We connected this morning at 9, over breakfast, where the kids said they generally slept well.  We know it may take a bit but, hopefully,  we’ll beat the jetlag and get on track quickly.

As I’m writing this email, they are meeting as a class to go over some of the course expectations.  The kids will have the afternoon to themselves, where they can go to the “Centro” or just settle in here at the hotel before meeting for dinner tonight.
