Day 9 - Exploring Bilbao & The Guggenheim Museum

Today was all about discovering the charm of Bilbao. In the morning, some students joined McKay and Bertan for an optional walking tour through the city’s historic streets and vibrant neighbourhoods. From the buzzing riverfront to tucked-away plazas, we got a real sense of Bilbao’s unique personality and blend of old and new.

After the tour, we made our way to the iconic Guggenheim Museum. This was one of the most anticipated stops of the day. With its bold architecture and world-class exhibits, the museum sparked curiosity, conversation, and plenty of photos. Whether students were drawn to the contemporary art or the building itself, there was something inspiring for everyone. It was the perfect way to spend our our full day in this artistic city.
