Day 8: Monteverde, Here We Come!

Today we said goodbye to Coco (but only for six days)!

We were up bright and early to load the buses and begin our journey to the place that lives in the clouds. The drive was full of winding roads, stunning mountain views, deep valleys, and plenty of cows along the way.

We made a pit stop to grab some tasty treats and snap photos with green screen–worthy backdrops. We made our way to the Cloud Forest Reserve where where we supported staff with some heavy-lifting forest volunteer work. It was tough, but incredibly rewarding! We then settled into our hotel – the space is rad and the views are absolutely unmatched.
We can’t wait for all the adventures that await us in magical Monteverde!
