Day 19: Kayaking Through the Mangroves

Today’s optional excursion took us to the breathtaking Playa Conchal, a beach famous for its soft, crushed-shell shoreline. Students soaked in the sunshine, explored the shimmering beach, and enjoyed the gentle sound of the waves rolling in. From there, we headed to Tamarindo for an exciting kayak tour through the lush mangroves. As we paddled through the calm waterways, we spotted an array of wildlife, including graceful blue herons and curious howler monkeys calling from the treetops. To wrap up the day, we returned to the beach just in time for a stunning sunset. Students dove into the waves, swam, and played in the golden glow of the evening light a perfect ending to an adventure-filled day.
