Day 15 - Reunited in Kalamata!

Hello, Kalamata!

Today was an exciting day as both groups made their way to Kalamata, where they were finally reunited after spending the past week exploring Greece in different ways. There was plenty of excitement as everyone looked forward to sharing stories from their adventures in Poros and out on the water.

During the journey, one group made a stop at the impressive Corinth Canal, taking in the incredible views of this engineering marvel that connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf. The other group enjoyed a break at a scenic roadside stop, surrounded by beautiful mountain views that made for a perfect place to stretch their legs, eat lunch, and take in the Greek landscape.

By the afternoon, everyone had arrived at our beautiful hotel in Kalamata, and it wasn’t long before students were catching up with one another. Whether relaxing by the pool, playing basketball, or heading straight to the beach, there were smiles all around as friends reunited and shared stories from the past week.

In the evening, we gathered for another wonderful dinner at the hotel before students enjoyed some well-deserved free time. Some took the opportunity to catch up on schoolwork, while others headed into town to explore Kalamata and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

It was wonderful to have the entire group back together again, and we’re excited to spend the rest of our journey making even more unforgettable memories as one team.
