Day 1 - Monteverde
The Monteverde Coffee Plantation was an incredible experience for our students illustrating how a family can honour the environment and still be a successful business and community partner.
After a long day of travel, we finally arrived at our first destination, the beautiful, and lush Monteverde. We enjoyed our first excursion to the Monteverde Coffee Plantation, sampled some extraordinary coffee, learned about their sustainable practices as well as assisted in improving the gardens and pathways.
