Coffee Tour at Cafe de Monteverde

Today, we had a wonderful day. We started off with a nutritious breakfast at the hotel. Soon after, we had the pleasure of taking a tour of Café en Monteverde, where we learned about the coffee cultivation and roasting process. We also learned about sustainable practices, and we even had the opportunity to contribute to these practices by adding compost to the coffee plants.

After some hard work, we enjoyed a delicious farm-to-table meal. We ended our day at Café en Monteverde with a taste test of light, medium, and dark roast coffee. Upon returning to the hotel, students got straight to work, working on their English and Biology in the sun!
