Bonjour de Paris !

Bonjour de Paris !
A very warm hello from our hotel in Paris. We landed safe and sound Tuesday morning and spent the afternoon getting accustomed to our new surroundings.
After a good sleep, everyone was feeling well rested and ready to take on the day. We all ventured onto the Parisien Métro for the first time to go to Montmartre for our walking tour of the bohemian neighbourhood. Everyone is very keen to come back to this area and explore some more in their free time.
Classes began in earnest yesterday afternoon, and teachers are very pleased with their students’ enthusiasm so far. Yesterday evening, staff accompanied students to see the Eiffel Tower for the first time. The overall impression—WOW!
Today is jam-packed with activities; students visited the Louvre for a guided tour with their classes bright and early this morning. This afternoon, they will have some time for a little more exploring, in addition to class.
We are looking forward to our first optional excursion to Vimy Ridge this weekend, as well as heading back to Montmartre for the flea market on Sunday. Students are also preparing to embrace the France heat that is on its way!
A gentle reminder to please complete your child’s media waiver if you haven’t already so that we can ensure that we are sharing photos of all students! Please also feel free to follow along on Instagram at @gsafrance2023 🙂
À bientôt !
