A Sweet Trip to Capri
When we first arrived in the quaint town of Meta, we wanted students to get to know the beautiful town of Sorrento, so we took a bus into the city for a guided tour with the wonderful Michele. Little did we know, he would also be our guide for today’s adventure to Capri!
Some students chose to spend another day exploring Sorrento, while others even ventured to Positano; but those who signed up for the optional Capri excursion had an early start to catch the ferry.
Once we arrived, Michele led us to the charming town of Anacapri, where everyone rode the Monte Solaro Chairlift to the highest point on the island. The panoramic views were absolutely breathtaking! 🌊
After taking in the scenery, we enjoyed a light lunch on a beautiful terrace before wandering through the shops and narrow laneways. A few students even squeezed in a quick swim to cool off!
One of the day’s biggest highlights? The famous limone sorbet, served inside a real lemon! 🍋 Safe to say it lived up to the hype.
With over 15,000 steps under our belts, we’re definitely ready for a good night’s sleep before tomorrow’s next adventure!
