Αντίο(goodbye) Athens, γειά σας (Hello) Crete
Today marked another successful day of classes. Mr. Austin accompanied his Grade 11/12 Biology students on a visit to the zoo, while Dr. Flaherty led his class to explore the Ancient Agora, Roman Agora, and the Holocaust Memorial. The students are now prepared and organized for our overnight journey to Crete.
We have arrived in Crete! Despite the early morning arrival, the students managed the travel day exceptionally well. Following the ferry trip, we boarded a bus to the town of Rethymnon, where a guided walking tour awaited us. Along the way, we encountered several local cats. After the tour, students enjoyed free time to explore the town, followed by checking into the hotel and engaged in scheduled class time.
