Tavira...Algarves...Ahhhh
It’s hard to believe we were in Tavira for 5 days, it went SO FAST!! It was the perfect place to rest, relax and recharge ? ? ?
There were some days that were filled with classes and learning and all the educational stuff, but we also had a glorious free weekend to explore the beautiful town of Tavira!
On Saturday we took the quick ferry ride over to the Ilha de Tavira (translated as Tavira Island). A tropical island near the town of Tavira. It is part of the natural park of Ria Formosa. ☀️ ? ? ?
It was such a hit that most of them spent Sunday afternoon there as well once they returned from the Benagil Caves Optional excursion! ?
All in all, it was a wonderful place to learn by the pool, soak up some vitamin D, celebrate a birthday, eat great food and frolic in the sand ?
Next stop Seville, SPAIN!!
