VOLCANO AND HOT SPRINGS TOUR, SANTORINI
When in Santorini, one must learn and experience how this island came to be. Santorini is a volcanic island group at the central south end of the Cyclades in the Aegean Sea. It is arguably the most famous of the Greek islands and it is renowned for its spectacular sea-filled volcanic caldera. Santorini’s half-moon shaped bay is surrounded by steep, colourful cliffs and spectacular sea views. Once we arrive at the volcanic bay by boat, we will follow the path to the top of the volcano to Palea Kameni where active craters still gently puff steam. Here we will experience the famous hot springs and mud baths, which were formed as result of volcanic eruptions.
