    This half day excursion will introduce students to a wide range of the underwater and reef life, much of which can be seen from the water’s surface. Water clarity often exceeds 75 feet at this time of year. Well preserved corals and vast quantities of fish of every shape, size and colour make this trip both memorable and instructive. We will depart Playas del Coco by boat, motoring through the pristine waters. Aside from its amazing architecture, Versailles’ history also makes the trip a must on anyone’s France to-do list. As the seat of political power, Versailles naturally became the cradle of the French Revolution. It was there that Marie-Antoinette was famously alleged to have said, in response to the fact that the French people were starving, “let them eat cake”. Both the King and the Queen were later executed and feudalism in France was abolished. We will be picked up by private coach after lunch. Once at the Chateau, we will take in the magnificent gardens and fountains, before a private guide takes us inside the palace to learn about the palace’s history and the people of the time.
