The monastery’s surroundings are full of flowers and plants, making it a lovely spot for reflection. We then make our way to the mountains of Crete, where Melidoni Cave is a place where nature and history intertwine. Inside, visitors can admire breathtaking chambers filled with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. Soft lighting highlights the natural beauty of the formations, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. To wrap up the day, we’ll enjoy a traditional Cretan lunch before returning to our accommodation.

Nippos is known as an old style, peaceful and quiet village with many churches, with the most famous church in the village being St. George. Work up an appetite before heading over to the taverna where you will get an introduction to all the fresh herbs, vegetables, and olive oils you will be using to create your meals. You will learn about authentic recipes and enjoy a delicious meal that you have created yourself!
