DISCOVERY SCUBA DIVING (NO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED)

This half-day adventure is for the non-certified diver who wants to experience underwater life first hand. A highly trained scuba instructor will teach students the basic principles of scuba diving in a swimming pool and then take them on a shallow open water dive up to 40 feet/12 meters in the ocean.

The monastery’s surroundings are full of flowers and plants, making it a lovely spot for reflection. We then make our way to the mountains of Crete, where Melidoni Cave is a place where nature and history intertwine. Inside, visitors can admire breathtaking chambers filled with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. Soft lighting highlights the natural beauty of the formations, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. To wrap up the day, we’ll enjoy a traditional Cretan lunch before returning to our accommodation.

    AUTHENTIC COOKING CLASS AND HALF DAY IN NIPPOS VILLAGE

    This excursion will have you experiencing a very Greek day! You will start by taking a walking tour around Nippos, a small and picturesque village surrounded by white mountains. Nippos is known as an old style, peaceful and quiet village with many churches, with the most famous church in the village being St. George. Work up an appetite before heading over to the taverna where you will get an introduction to all the fresh herbs, vegetables, and olive oils you will be using to create your meals. You will learn about authentic recipes and enjoy a delicious meal that you have created yourself! You will be making crumbled tomatoes on traditional brusquettes (dako), the classic tzatziki, Greek cabbage rolls, stuffed vegetables with rice and herbs (gemista), and the famous Greek salad with feta cheese on top.
