KAMAKURA
Discover the charm and history of Kamakura, a historic coastal city located just an hour south of Tokyo. Once the political centre of medieval Japan, Kamakura is known for its high concentration of ancient temples, shrines, and monuments. Our group will travel by private coach to the Kotoku-in Temple to witness the Great Buddha, one of Japan’s most famous and iconic landmarks. We will then visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, the city's central spiritual landmark, followed by a stroll down vibrant Komachi Street. Here, we will explore a variety of local shops and enjoy free time for an included lunch. The day continues with some relaxation time at Zaimokuza Beach, a scenic spot perfect for enjoying the sea and sand. The group will then return to the hotel for the evening.
