    ISLAND SAILING DISCOVERY

    Spend a day sailing and exploring The Maddalena Archipelago, a group of islands that stretch between Sardinia, Italy and Corsica, France. You will have the opportunity to explore more than five different islands on the Italian side. This excursion combines history and adventure! Depart your hotel early in the morning and set sail close to the Islands of Caprera and Santo Stefano to get to the town of La Maddalena. You will have the chance to explore the historical center and get a brief history of Palazzo Comunale, Naval Museum, and the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art. Your adventure continues towards Spargi Island and Santa Maria Island, where you will have the chance to swim in beautiful crystal- clear water and explore hidden caves and different rock formations.  Due to the wind erosion, these rocks have taken on interesting formations: the head of a witch, a dog, and boots.
