Happy Monday!

Today we said goodbye to the island of Crete and prepared for our departure back to Athens.  After the students checked out of their rooms, they had classes throughout the day until our bus departure to the ferry.

The ferry ride was an overnight cruise and it was quite the experience!  We embarked on the ship and had dinner, then the students had the evening to work on assignments and spend quality time with each other.   There is something special about being surrounded by the darkness of the Aegean sea at night, time that inspired bonding among the students.  It was a night filled with smiles, laughter, and the building of lifelong friendships.  After some sleep in our cozy cabins, the ship arrived in Athens early for our disembarkation.

Just like that, we begin the final stretch of our program, spending the last 4 days in Athens.  We’re excited for the last bit of adventure our students get to experience in Greece this summer!
