Can you believe we’ve reached our final destination? Madrid was definitely a favourite amongst the students. Our hotel was very centrally located so students were able to go off (in groups of 4) and explore all the city has to offer. They dove into the culture, visiting both the Prado museum as well as the Reina Sofia museum. They had authentic Spanish cuisine at the amazing restaurant “La Carmela” and at the local market “Mercado de San Miguel”. They had a picnic in the iconic park “El Retiro” and shopped ’till they dropped along “Gran Via”. It’s hard to believe this is our last stop on this incredible adventure.
