GRADE 11 & 12
GREECE HYBRID JULY PROGRAM
TRAVEL + ONLINE

Greece, where ancient history meets breathtaking sunsets, beaches and piercing blue skies. We start our adventure in the ancient city and capital of Athens and explore both classical architecture and modern city life. Join in on an included excursion through the Acropolis and be amazed by the Parthenon and the Temple of Athena Nike. Enjoy the shops, and vibrating cafes and restaurants and fill your minds with the extensive history of local museums and galleries.

Next, we will make our way to Rhodes, the largest island in the Dodecanese and a place that makes you feel like you are in Game of Thrones. Take a walking tour through Rhodes Town, the capital of the island, and visit the medieval Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Indulge in famous Greek cuisine and relax on the beautiful beaches along the coastline.

Our island hopping continues with ferry rides to the islands of Patmos and Kos. These small, authentic, islands in the Aegean are rich in Greek spiritual culture and offer beautiful landscapes. Take a stroll through the old towns, swim in the crystal-clear waters and opt to join in on the various water activities.

From our overnight ferry, we will head back to spend the final few days in Athens. Enjoy your farewell banquet with delicious Greek food and take in all the breathtaking views of Athens.

ONLINE LEARNING: Asynchronous/self-directed course work will begin at the end of June, with students working independently at their own pace. Approximately 50% of the course will be completed online before we set off for our travel portion of the program.
