About Australia Educational Programs

Across the Pacific Ocean lies some of the Earth’s most scenic and stunning locations known to man. On this program experience three seasons in a month as students visit the beautiful cities of Australia, the valleys and rugged peaks of New Zealand and the relaxing beach towns of Fiji.

The wonder from down under, Australia is welcoming multicultural hub with thousands of pristine beaches and bustling coastal cities. Sprawling deserts, enormous forests, and coral reefs make this country the embodiment of diversity.

Start in Sydney, Australia’s largest city. Students can relax oceanside at Bondi Beach or hike along the coastal trail. We will then make our way over to Whitsundays, Airlie Beach and you will have the option to sea kayak and join in on an included excursion to the Great Barrier Reef and sailing around the Whitsunday Islands. This location is the perfect spot to take it easy before heading to the capital of Queensland, Brisbane.

Welcome to Brisbane, the city that gives you the hipster feel, relaxing cafes, and great vintage shopping.  While in the area, students can take the opportunity to visit the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to meet koalas, feed kangaroos, and learn about unique Australian wildlife.

We continue the adventure in New Zealand, the country where you can find everything from untamed wilderness, to rich culture and dramatic landscapes, offering some of the most picturesque views. New Zealand is also where the Lord of the Rings was filmed. Known as the adventure capital of the world, South Island’s Queenstown offers skiing on Coronet Peak, Maori cultural shows, and kiwi bird sanctuaries. You will have the opportunity to experience all of this! For the adrenaline junkies, you will have the option to skydive and bungee jump!

This program would not be complete without experiencing the island of Fiji. This island is archipelago of 300 islands and is famed for the contrast of its rugged landscape, beautiful beaches and coral reefs with clear lagoons. Perfect, relaxing way to end your fun-filled Oceanic adventure!

SPECIAL PROGRAM NOTE: The Oceania winter months are July and August, but UV levels remain high. Wear a broad spectrum, biodegradable sunscreen to protect the skin as well as the ocean’s coral reef, which can get damaged from chemicals found in common sun creams.
