Did you think Whistler was only for winter fans? Well, think again. Whistler in the summer is full of adventure and outdoor activities.
Located in the expansive Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Whistler is a 2-hour drive north of Vancouver. From the impressive Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, to the lively pedestrian-only Whistler Village, Whistler is surrounded by lakes, forests, biking trails, rivers, parks, stunning mountain views, and much more. Whistler is known for having the largest ski-resort in North America, the famous peak-to-peak gondola and, of course, home to the 2010 Winter Olympics.
This program will give students the opportunity to explore one of the most adventurous towns in Canada while earning an Ontario high school credit.
Our group will also enjoy a day trip to Vancouver. This bustling west-coast city is vibrant and diverse. We will walk the charming streets of Gastown, Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhood, indulge in delicious foods (did you know Vancouver was the sushi capital of North America?), and visit the famous Stanley Park, known as the green oasis.
While in Whistler, students will have the chance to participate in fun and exciting optional excursions, such as bungee jumping and stand-up paddling.
Students will have the opportunity to add a 3-day or a 6-day skiing or snowboarding program, including instruction from trained coaches. Experience Whistler Blackcomb and learn new and cool tricks! Intermediate or advanced levels only.
Leave Whistler with unforgettable stories and memories!
